Butterworth Exhibition at Kent State University and Documentary

Carter brought this to my attention last week, but I was away in Loch Lomond so sadly couldn’t write anything about it (until now!). I also couldn’t write up the Sunday Submissions – but more on all this later.

Last week there was an exhibition of Michael Butterworth’s work at Kent State University, which was lovingly introduced by Donald Hassler (Professor of English, KSU). As you can see from the images below, New Worlds makes an appearance, as does Corridor, and International Authors very own ‘Emanations’ (in the corner of the first image).

Also, rather excitingly, the interest generated by the exhibition has lead to the beginnings of what will be a feature length documentary on Butterworth and the Corridor series. Clara Casian, a Manchester-based artist, will be working on this in the coming months.
